What Happened at Elvish Yadav’s House?
The most popular Youtuber as well as Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav was the subject of a horrifying attack early the morning of Sunday. Three masked males riding motorcycles arrived at his Gurugram residence in Sector 57 at around 5:30 am and fired more than 25 rounds into the house.
The terrifying incident was captured by CCTV cameras. Two gunmen are seen stepping off their bikes and firing continuously at the house of Elvish. One of them even got on the main gate to shoot additional shots. After a brief pause to refill the guns they kept shooting, before fleeing.
It was fortunate that Elvish was not home at the time this occurred. He was on the job in a different state. But his family members such as his dad Ram Avtar Yadav, and the caretaker of the house were present when the shooting occurred. No one was injured, however the gunshot left bullet marks throughout the home.
Who Did This and Why?
A few hours after an attack, the gang of criminals group dubbed “Himanshu Bhau gang” said they were responsible for the attack. The gang is headed by a fugitive gangster called Himanshu Bhau, who is living in Portugal.
In a post on their social media the gang was accused by Elvish of promoting gambling apps which had “ruined many families”. They also warned other stars on social media that those who promote gambling may be in the same situation.
It’s not the first time that this group has targeted those associated with Elvish. They’ve previously slammed one of his friends Rahul Fazilpuria. They also played a role with the assassination of a financial advisor.
Police Investigation Begins
The father of Elvish told reporters that he was asleep when the attack took place. “The police are doing their job well. We trust they are working properly,” he told reporters. He confirmed that three of the attackers are visible within three of the CCTV footage.
The Gurugram police arrived at the spot and began an investigation. They informed the family the FIR (First Information Report) will be filed on the basis of the complaint filed by the family. Police officers of the top rank take this matter very serious.
Elvish Yadav’s Troubled Past
It’s not the only time Elvish has been featured in news media due to a variety of reasons. In the year prior the singer was arrested in connection to a case of snake venom used as drug in raves. He was also rejected by the Allahabad High Court when he tried to defend the charges brought against him.
Despite all this, Elvish remains one of India’s most popular YouTubers. He recently walked away with the cooking competition “Laughter Chef Season 2”. He’s also slated to marry on the 25th of December 2025 in Udaipur.
The incident that took place has shocked millions of followers all over India that are concerned about his security.
